M-2599-19/RTB - will provide for design, permit, bid assist, and construction administration services for the Re-Use of Fire Station #29 plans and specifications and comply with the current code (FBC 2017 6th Edition) and the Permitting Requirements under the City of Altamonte Springs, as reviewed and coordinated with Seminole County Staff and Project Manager.
The Consultant will update Site/Civil, Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, and Landscape Architecture. The Site/Civil team will provide for Pre-DRC, DRC and FDOT submittals (as required) and permitting requirements under the City of Altamonte Springs and FDOT pond realignment. Permit documents will be submitted under the FBC 2017, 6th edition of the Florida Building Code. Design Documents to be submitted at 95% phase for review by the County Project Manager.
The proposed aggressive schedule contained within the backup documents of the proposal derived from a meeting held between County Fire and Public Works staff and the consultant on Monday, June 3, 2019, provides for a tentative final completion of November 9, 2020 and a move in date of December 2020.
This is a budgeted project and funds will become available in Fire Station #11 Construction and Design (Acct # 02005049.560680.00001) with the approval of a BAR #19-078 being processed simultaneously on the Resource Management Agenda
