Title:
Approve and authorize the Chairman to execute a Resolution implementing Budget Amendment Request (BAR) #19-065 through the 2014 Infrastructure Sales Tax Fund in the amount of $785,357 and through the 1991 Infrastructure Sales Tax Fund in the amount of $1,221,669 for a total of $2,007,026 to close out funding for completed projects in both sales tax funds and transfer the funds to reserves. Background:

Public Works Department is requesting to reduce funding in the following completed projects and cancel the W. McColluch Rd Project (CIP#01785279):

 

2014 Infrastructure Sales Tax Projects:

 

1) W McCulloch Rd (CIP# 01785279) The Department is requesting to cancel this project. A maintenance agreement with Orange County was executed and Orange County will be taking over the maintenance and upgrades to this road.

 

2) Markham Woods Rd (CIP#01785206) - Project Complete. Moving available funds back to reserves.

 

3) E. McCulloch Rd (CIP# 01785490) Project complete. Moving available funds back to reserves.

 

4) Briar Cliff Dr Repaving (CIP# 01795916) Project Complete. Moving available funds back to reserves.

 

5) Brooks Ln Sidewalk (CIP# 01785247) Project Complete. Moving available funds back to reserves.

 

6) SR 434 & Orange (CIP #01785160) Project Complete. Moving available funds back to reserves.

 

7) N Oregon St (CIP #01785262) Project Complete. Moving available funds back to reserves.

 

8) Curryville Irma  (CIP #01785718) Project Complete. Moving available funds back to reserves.

 

9) SR 436 @ Howell Branch Rd - reducing funding for this project. The original scope of the project will be done by FDOT but the remaining funds will be used for mast arm upgrades.

 

1991 Infrastructure Sales Tax Fund Projects:

 

10) Howell Branch Rd  (CIP #01785208) Project Complete. Moving available funds back to reserves.

 

11) E. Lake Mary Resurfacing (CIP# 00137114). Project Complete. Moving available funds to reserves.

 

12) Project Contingency (CIP# 99999901) - removing funding for Project Contingency. It is not needed when reserves are available.

Staff Recommendation:
Staff recommends that the Board approve and authorize the Chairman to execute a Resolution implementing Budget Amendment Request (BAR) #19-065 through the 2014 Infrastructure Sales Tax Fund in the amount of $785,357 and through the 1991 Infrastructure Sales Tax Fund in the amount of $1,221,669 for a total of $2,007,026 to remove funding for current and completed projects in both sales tax funds and transfer the funds to reserves.
