| | | | | | | | | Background: | Seminole County Leisure Services intends to place a general obligation (GO) bond question on the November 2020 ballot. This GO bond is anticipated to support Parks and Natural Lands in Seminole County. Phase I of this process has been completed with a survey comparing 2015 data to data collected in January, 2020. This scope of services is for Phase II that has been modified due to the COVID-19 event. Phase II will now consist of County staff working in conjunction with the County’s BCC-Appointed Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) and the County Attorney’s Office to draft the required ballot language based on the outcomes of Phase I of the process. The Budget Amendment Request is to fund a new Public Opinion Survey designed to test the specific ballot language. Input will also be sought from the County’s Parks and Preservation Advisory Committee (PPAC) and the Technical Advisory Committee (TAC). |
