IFB-603724-20/TLR will provide for a qualified contractor to provide all necessary management, supervision, personnel, materials, transportation, general and specialized tools and equipment to accomplish complete general landscape maintenance services for Community Services properties as defined in the Scope of Services. Contractor must implement all necessary work control procedures to ensure timely accomplishment of work requirements and must follow the current Florida Friendly Best Management Practice for Protection of Water Resources by the Green Industry.
This project was publicly advertised and the County received five (5) submittals in response to the solicitation of which two (2) of them were considered non-responsive for failure to comply with the licensing requirements stated in the solicitation. The Review Committee consisting of Bob Miller, Landscape Inspection; Jeromy Mynes, Landscape Contract Project Coordinator; and Bill Pandos, Greenways and Natural Lands Division Manager, reviewed the submittals. Consideration was given to past performance, qualifications, and bid price. The Review Committee recommends award to the lowest priced, responsive, responsible bidder, Premier Lawn Maintenance, Longwood.
Authorization for services by the Contractor will be in the form of written Release Orders issued and executed by the County. The Agreement will take effect on the date of execution and will continue for a period of three (3) years. At the sole option of the County the Agreement may be renewed for five (5) successive one (1) year periods. The estimated annual amount of the agreement is $18,558.00.
