| | | | | | | | Background: | The Justice and Mental Health Collaboration Program offers grants to help entities prepare comprehensive plans to implement collaboration programs the target qualified offenders and promote public safety and public health. The County's Mental Health Court program has seen a remarkable rise in clients and lack funding to provide mental health treatment services to these clients. The grant funding would be used to provide treatment services provided by Aspire Health Partners to reduce the risk of recidivism.
The grant requires a 20% match requirement for Years 1 and 2 and a 40% match for project year 3. The match requirement would be provided by personnel support from the 18th Circuit Court including the Problem Solving Courts Manager, State Attorney, and Judge along with Aspire Health Partners, Inc. |
