IFB-603745-20/TLR will provide for a contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, coordination, transportation, management and incidentals necessary to service the collection of medical waste disposal to the Seminole County Fire Stations, Fire Training Center and Animal Services locations. Additional collection points may be established or moved as required by operational necessities and approved by the County. Contractor will maintain compliance with all federal, state and local regulations along with maximum safety and infection control at all sites listed in the scope of services.
This project was publicly advertised and the County received three (3) submittals in response to the solicitation. The Review Committee consisting of Lieutenant Armando Camacho and Lieutenant Theresa Krebs reviewed the submittals. Consideration was given to past performance, qualifications and price. The Review Committee recommends award to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder, Medigreen Waste Services, Goldenrod.
Authorization for provision of materials and services by the Contractor under this Agreement must be in the form of written Release Orders issued and executed by the County. The Agreement will take effect the date of its execution and continues for a period of three (3) years. At the sole option of the County, this Agreement may be renewed for two (2) successive one (1) year periods. The estimated annual usage of the Agreement is $28,676.00.
