Background:

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is constructing the following project: State Road 436 at Howell Branch Road Intersection Improvements Project, Financial Management Number (FM#) 441365-1-52-01.  Portions of the project require work within the County’s right-of-way.  This Off-System Construction and Maintenance Agreement grants right of entry to the FDOT to act on behalf of the County to complete the Project.  This Agreement also requires that the County maintain the improvements once the project is complete.


Staff Recommendation:
Staff recommends the Board approve and authorize the Chairman to execute the Seminole County / State of Florida Department of Transportation Off System Construction and Maintenance Agreement for Roadway Improvements at State Road 436 and Howell Branch Road to North of Howell Branch Road and the Resolution for this Agreement.
