| | | | | | | | | Background: | Public Works Engineering is requesting additional funds for the Cross Seminole Trail - Missing Link Project. (CIPs#00187766; #02007160). This project involves the construction of 0.6 miles of recreational trail from Layer Elementary School north of Old Sanford/Oviedo Rd in Winter Springs (along SR 419). Currently, $968K is available in the project funded by Natural Lands Fund. However, additional funds are needed to cover the costs associated with the construction /CEI contract, CSX agreement, and post design services for a total of $1,313,711. Therefore, Engineering is requesting to transfer funds in the amount of $345,000 from 2014 Infrastructure Sales Tax funds to cover the shortage. Additional funds are currently not available in the Natural Lands Fund for Public Works. Reserves in 2014 Infrastructure Sales Tax is currently budgeted at $21.4M |
