| | | | | | | | | Background: | | The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development through the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act) has allocated funds through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) in the amount of $1,238,297 and Emergency Shelter Grant program in the amount of $591,952 in additional funding for the County. The funds will be used to prioritize unique needs of low and moderate income persons and to support homeless and homeless prevention activities to mitigate impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. BAR #20-052 in the amount of $1,830,249 will establish budget for this funding. |
