SS-604153-21/TKH will provide Medical Director Services for the Seminole County Emergency Medical Services.  Services include, but are not limited to, assuming direct responsibility for the clinical activities of all the paramedics and Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT). 

During Dr. Husty's long tenure as the SCEMS Medical Director, he has provided exemplary service to the citizens of Seminole County through continuous proactive approaches to Emergency Medical Services delivery.  His continued involvement with Seminole County Paramedics in enhancing their training opportunities and cutting edge practices and modalities have significantly enhanced the delivery  of emergency medical care countywide.  

Authorization for services by the Contractor will be in the form of written purchase orders issued and executed by the County. The Agreement will take effect on the date of execution and will continue for a period of three (3) years.  At the sole option of the County, the agreement may be renewed for five (5) successive periods not to exceed one (1) year each.  The fixed fee amount of the agreement for year one (1) is $469,684.00. Funds are available in the General Fund/EMS Performance Management/Professional Services (Acct# 00100.055017.530310).
