IFB-604174-21/TKH will provide seven (7) County owned and leased  facilities with preventative maintenance for all HVAC systems requiring water treatment with routine visits on a monthly, quarterly, or annual basis. This requires the Contractor to be ISO 9001-2015 certified for the chemicals and treatment process.  Also included is providing emergency service within 48 hours of notification and delivering replacement water treatment equipment within 48 hours if needed to maintain acceptable water quality.  Service reporting or a field analysis report is required at the time of each monthly routine service.  Reporting is also required for quarterly and annual inspections.

This project was publicly advertised and the County received two (2) submittals in response to the solicitation. The Review Committee, consisting of Tim Marcopulos, Facilities Manager, Bradley Stewart, Program Manager, and Carlos Rivera, Lead-HVAC, reviewed the bid submittals. Consideration was given to past performance, qualifications and bid price. The Review Committee recommends award to the lowest priced, responsive, responsible bidder, SWE, Inc of Louisiana dba Southwest Engineers, Inc., Slidell, LA.

Authorization for services by the contractor will be in the form of written Release Orders issued and executed by the County. The agreement will take effect on the date of execution and will continue for a period of three (3) years. At the sole option of the County the agreement may be renewed for two (2) successive periods not to exceed one (1) year each. The estimated annual amount of the agreement is $32,600.00.
