RFP-603691-19/TLR Term Contract for Vending Machine Services provides various types and sizes of hot and cold vending products for vending machines throughout Seminole County.

Over the last 12 months, manufacturers of the snack items in our vending machines have experienced continued inflation across packaging, labor, and transportation. While the pricing across the Food Service industry has continued to rise, the manufacturers have been working diligently to eliminate unnecessary costs to help absorb potential cost increases. Their efforts are ongoing and they are committed to delivering value by providing high quality products.  The inflationary headwinds have brought significant  change therefore the average cost increase of Canteen's snack items will increase by an average of 10% per item. Amendment #1 reflects the revised menu and price adjustments.

The County receives 21% commission of gross sales, and the machines are located throughout various offices owned by the BCC, the Health Department,  and several Seminole County Sheriff's Offices.
