Approve and authorize the Chairman to execute the agreement between Seminole County and Embrace Families Solutions in the amount $65,000 for the provision of Rapid Re-housing to benefit low income residents in Seminole County. Countywide (Carrie Longsworth, Division Manager)

Through participation in the local Continuum of Care (CoC) and based on the community need, Seminole County Community Services and Embrace Families Solutions, Inc. have partnered to assist homeless households served in Seminole County. The funding for Fiscal Year 2021-22 will provide assistance for at least ten (10) homeless families with minor children. Embrace Families Solutions, Inc. will use SHIP funds in the amount of $65,000 to serve homeless households in Seminole County by providing Rapid Rehousing Services.

Eligible costs for Rapid Rehousing services using SHIP funds include rental assistance, utility payments, and housing relocation costs.
