| | | | | | | | | Background: | | The construction of a Winwood Park ADA restroom facility was approved in the FY21 budget in the amount of $100,000. Construction costs, including materials and labor have increased since the project was originally estimated. During the procurement process, two bids were received for $165,000 and $185,000. Leisure Services is requesting a budget amendment in the amount of $89,750 from general fund reserves to increase the project budget to $189,750. This increase includes $65,000 to execute the contract with the low bidder plus a 15% project contingency of $24,750. Prior to the BAR, General Fund reserves are $55M. |
