| | | | | | | | | Background: | In fiscal year 2020-21, Seminole County ordered two (2) new Aljon compactor(s) from C & C Manufacturing, LLC, utilizing a piggy-back agreement with the Florida Sheriffs Association. The compactors were delivered in November 2021. The Total Maintenance & Repair (TM&R) for the newly purchased Aljon Compactors are specific to the unit through the warranties purchased and must be serviced through C & C Manufacturing, LLC, as an approved vendor. SS-604241-21/TLR is the TM&R for the new compactor(s) and includes a downtime clause, for C & C Manufacturing to store a loaner compactor on the landfill property to use in the event compactor(s) goes down for 72 hours under a covered repair. No other vendor can provide TM&R on C & C Manufacturing, Aljon compactors without risking the manufacturer’s warranty.
The term of this agreement is five (5) years, with the estimated cost, based on operating hours of use at $24.82 per operating hour. |
