Slavia Colony Company’s Subdivision Unnamed Right-of-Way Vacate – Adopt the Resolution vacating and abandoning an uncut portion of an unnamed right-of-way, as recorded in Plat Book 2, Page 71, in the Public Records of Seminole County, Florida, for property located on the south side of W. Chapman Road, ¼ mile west of S.R. 426; (Echelon Constructors, LLC., Applicant) District1 - Dallari (Joy Giles, Project Manager)

1. Adopt the Resolution vacating and abandoning an uncut portion of an unnamed right-of-way, as recorded in Plat Book 2, Page 71, in the Public Records of Seminole County, Florida; or  

2. Deny adoption of the Resolution vacating and abandoning an uncut portion of an unnamed right-of-way, as recorded in Plat Book 2, Page 71, in the Public Records of Seminole County, Florida; or  

3. Continue the request to a time and date certain.
   

The Applicant has petitioned the County to vacate an uncut portion of an unnamed right-of-way lying between Lots 51 and 54 of the Slavia Colony Company’s Subdivision as recorded in Plat Book 2, Page 71, in the Public Records of Seminole County, Florida.

The Applicant owns both parcels adjacent to the subject right-of-way and proposes to utilize the subject thirty (30) foot right-of-way as part of a future proposed development. 

The Applicant has provided letters of no objection from all applicable utility companies and Public Works has no objection to the requested vacate.

This request complies with the requirements for vacating a right-of-way under Section 35.184 of the Land Development Code and the authority of Sections 336.09 and 336.10, Florida Statutes.

Recommend the Board of County Commissioners Adopt the Resolution vacating and abandoning an uncut portion of an unnamed right-of-way, as recorded in Plat Book 2, Page 71, in the Public Records of Seminole County, Florida.
