IFB-604188-21/LNF will provide an experienced contractor responsible for all labor, materials, equipment, coordination and incidentals necessary for tree trimming, tree removal, stump grinding and clean up, including response to emergencies throughout Seminole County.

This project was publicly advertised and the County received three (3) submittals in response to the solicitation. The Review Committee which consisted of Jimmie Beach, Public Works Division Manager; Joel Carter, Public Works Engineer Inspector; Gerald S. Marshall, Public Works Sr. Team Leader; William Pandos, Leisure Services Division Manager; Matthew Phillips, Public Works Program Manager I; and David Stough, Public Works Sr. Team Leader, reviewed the submittals. Consideration was given to past performance, qualifications and bid price. Staff recommends award to the lowest priced, responsive, responsible bidder, A Budget Tree Service, Inc., Winter Springs.

Authorization for services by the contractor will be in the form of written Release Orders issued and executed by the County on an as needed basis. The agreement will take effect on the date of execution and continue for three (3) years. At the sole option of the County, this agreement may be renewed for two (2) successive periods not to exceed one (1) year each. The estimated annual amount of the agreement is $1,049,550.00.
